Yukimura-ryu teaching license for Osada Steve issued on August 6, 2012.
If you look closely, you will find “dai ichi go” (第一号, first) following the date on the license, indicating that Osada Steve is the first bakushi receiving such menkyoshou (免許証).
Yukimura Haruki sensei’s system is generally recognized as the deepest and most complex there is. This system goes way beyond the rope. To fully benefit from these teachings you need to have experience and be ready. As in: When student is ready, teacher will come.
