DVDs and Tapes from Japan

If you haven’t done so already, you owe it to yourself to check out the Performance Shibari DVDs put out by Osada Steve. When I started this blog, the first post was an advertisement for this particular set of videos.

There’s been a lot of content since then and no ads but everyone’s gotta pay the bills, so I’m throwing in this reminder. To quote the blurb:

Ten action-packed performances with 5-plus hours total running time.

Watching these DVDs is like having a ringside seat to a real Japanese rope show minus the plane ticket to Tokyo.

So hit the link. When you do, you’ll see other DVDs there as well. For example, there are tutorial DVDs by the incomparable Randa Mai. Not only that, but Steve got some kind of deal because he’s offering a shitload of classic VHS tapes, many by Yukimura sensei, for well under what they cost in Japan. That is, if you can still find them. Here’s an example.

And below, the Performance Shibari DVDs. All of these star the bewitching Asagi Ageha, one of the most (if not the most) popular m-jo in Japan.
